Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was chosen to be a part of Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but later knee injuries forced her on the sidelines. It took many years to Allana to return back into the rugby league. Allana was the first to play in a female rugby union match that was played with New South Wales as she stood out in the match that was played against Queensland. Allana can also be found on radio on her resume, making frequent appearances on 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Beyond sports, Allana is a qualified educator. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of playing for Australia in three sports, rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson was called upon to announce an early end to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears in the same ligament when she was 15, 17 and 20, and a 4th tear meant she was over. Ferguson played for JILLAROOS's team and was forced to quit earlier due to a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson has confirmed to The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November. Ferguson has been the female player of the Women's Rugby League for several seasons.
